More Therapy

I took a 2.5 hour nap and then went and got two Boston Creme donuts....that didn't help either.

1. Workout therapy - no help
2. Retail therapy - no help
3. Sleep therapy - no help
4. Donut therapy - no help.

I really wish I had a yard. I could go out there and putter for a few hours weeding and watering...but that's not an option either.

Anyone got any suggesstions?? I have 1440 minutes to fill and a man I really am trying to prentend doesn't exist.

xoxo,
Bug

I think we could find something up here for you if you're really desperate...

Looks to me like you need to find a new man to help you to forget about the old one.

Now, let's see, where could we find you one of those new man type persons...

Hey Mellissa,

I came over 'cause I've been reading this book, and I thought of you and your recent posts. Try reading Gifted Grownups: The Mixed Blessings of Extraordinary Potential by Marylou Kelly Streznewski. I found it while researching gifted education for teaching and because of My Boy. I can hardly put it down, because it's helping me make sense of my life.

I have a strong feeling that you, lady, are a "gifted grownup." I popped over to recommend this book, and found this post. Kismet maybe?

I've been reading your blog tonight LB. You are the most amazing writer. You have a special gift in the way you're able to put your thoughts, feelings and experiences into words as you do. You can truely paint a picture with your words.

Os & Green, You two need to behave ;-) No more mans for me!!!

Cheryl, that is very nice that you think I am a "gifted grownup"...I think I might just be an overachiever...who fails a lot ;-)

Anonymous - Thank you for what you said. I hope today will get a little easier - I can see that we are both thinking of each other - and missing....

Hmmmm. If none of those work - how about a little Spa retreat/vacation therapy? ;)

mellissa: oh, no. You're not getting off that easy!

Perhaps it's just about riding through the pain and knowing that it will pass.

Sorry - not very helpful. I think Rebecca's suggestions are a good idea as well. Take care.
